Why electronics need their own trip
In California, most electronics are banned from the regular trash because of the lead, mercury and other materials inside. They have to go to an approved electronics recycler, and that is exactly where we take them.
We pick up from homes, garages, offices and storage units. One television is a single item; an office refresh with dozens of monitors and towers is quoted by volume.

We transport equipment to the recycler; we do not wipe or destroy data. Remove or erase hard drives before pickup, or ask us to leave the drives with you.

Is it illegal to throw a TV in the trash in California?
Televisions, monitors and many other electronics are classified as universal or hazardous waste in California and may not go in the regular trash.
Do you pick up old tube TVs?
Yes, including large CRT and projection sets.
Do you destroy hard drives?
No. Please remove or erase drives before pickup.
